We have Jira Server 8.5.2 in which we are getting sometimes 18 records and sometimes 22 records of Sub-Issues for an Epic Link. The correct number of records of sub-issues for this epic link is 22 records. This scenario is happening with that particular Epic Link only. Please provide reason why system is showing such strange behaviour with a particular Epic Link.
I suspect you are asking this question from different user accounts, one of which does not have permission to see 4 of the issues.
