We have a project that is worked on by multiple teams. It is not convenient to monitor those issues on various projects. Is there any feature on jira that would allow a view of multiple projects from a central board.

Yes, you can create a board and use a filter that includes all of the desired projects. The board filter would look like:
Project in (ABC, DEF, 123, 456) order by rank
