Archiving Epics and Tasks

If i archive an Epic will the tasks linked to the Epic be archived automatically or do I have to do it manually?

As tested on JIRA 8.20.12 (data center, if it makes a difference): archiving an Epic does not automatically archive related Tasks. Could have been useful, though.
