Issues not showing up on Backlog after adding to Sprint

Question

Hi community members,

I have 29 issues in the Backlog. I moved 5 of them in current Active Sprint. After this movement, I only see 1 issue in my Backlog. Why is it so? What do I need to do to show remaining 25 issues in the backlog.

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

* Can you check if there were sub-tasks within those 29 issues? Probably those sub-tasks are moved to the sprint when you add the parent task to the sprint from the backlog.
* Also, please check board configuration for the filter that is being used. As @Ravi Sagar _Sparxsys_ mentioned, issues shouldn't disappear unless the filter behind the board has been updated to exclude certain issues.

Check your board configurations, especially the filter for the board. Issues shouldn't disappear from the backlog unless the board filter is excluding them.
