Showing subtask on current sprint scrum board

I have reviewed many of the articles regarding this subject and none have provided resolution.

Background:

Board type: Scrum

Project version: Classic

Running the query shows the subtasks.

Now it is possible you've run into a bug. But it's more likely a configuration oddity.

Taking a look at your query, I did notice you could simplify it by using

project in (labkey, "Digital Data Repository") AND ...

since the subsequent AND clauses for those two projects are identical.

Now I'll just ramble on about possible causes and things to double-check...

As I'm sure you know, running your query in the "issue navigator" (accessed via "Issues and filters" in the left navbar from any board) will show everything that matches the JQL. Specific board configurations, though, can layer on top of that to change what is shown on a specific board.

Saying that another way: The same JQL can look radically different on differently configured boards.

This suggests that the problem you're encountering is probably in the board configuration. I'm unclear about exactly what's not working. But I'd recommend reviewing the "Board settings" specifically in these areas:

• General > Filter (ensure the saved filter matches the intended JQL).
• General > Kanban board sub-filter (probably irrelevant, you mentioned "Active Sprint" view suggesting a Scrum board, but that sub-filter is a common cause for unexpected behavior on Kanban boards).
• General > Hide completed issue (all the subtasks don't happen to have simply "aged off the board", have they? Again, only for Kanban boards).
• General > Swimlanes > Queries (if being used, look for interactions here)
• General > Quickfilters (just ensure you've cleared all quickfilters when viewing the board during your tests)
