When a custom field which has the options as drop down list is used in JQL query, having an issue.

Question

I'm trying to execute the below query . And when used Reported by[which is a drop down field and has multiple options such as Customer, IV&V / TE, Factory , ME ...) for SWD and customer it is working but when using it for other drop down options such as ME or IV&V / TE or Factory ... I'm not able to execute the query.

(project = XXXXX) AND ("Reported By" != Customer AND "Reported By" != SWD AND "Reported By" = "IV&V / TE" )

Hi @Muhammad Ali ,

Click on all issues in the project -> Go to advance search -> + More -> Select the categories you are looking for filter -> switch to JQL ...and save your filter.

If this not your case, Can you please elaborate your problem.

I have found the workaround solution for the same. I have applied the filters by selecting the options from the Advanced search.
