Question

Hi at all,

I want change workflow status from A to B of a project Pippo when I add a Issue Link of a another issue.

I used Postfunction Linked Transition (JSU) specifying :

* Trigger transition on all issues related (ANY for example)
* Transition (the transition name)

So, when I create a new issue, after add the Issue Link, the father issue not pass in the next status.

Are there any suggestions?

so is only the Issue Linked that can pass in the next state.

I see two cases here:

You need to link existing issues

When two issues are linked, an event and not a transition is fired. JSU can only hook into transitions.

You only need to link new issues

Trigger the transition you want to happen manually and use the Create A Linked Issue post function to create the linked issue.

The Linked Transition post function triggers a transition on a linked issue, that has been linked before the transition, but it does not trigger a transition on the current issue when an issue is linked.

Moreover in the state A there is also a Update Any Issue Field (JSU) with a button that allows the passage in the state B.

Is it possible that this is on conflict with Linked Transition (JSU) ?
