Create Sub-Tasks for Epics

I don´t find other way to create sub-tasks in Epics than going to the Old View and select Create SubTask in the menu, but there is no place in the New View to do it. I hope Atlassian is not intending to deprecate this option for epics. Does anyone knows how to create subtasks in Epic in the New View?

Not sure that the issue you refer is the same I am pointing out. I can't even see the Create Sub-Task button when I am in the New Issue View of an Epic.

Sorry, I must have pasted the wrong one. There is a bug in the new view where it doesn't show it. You have to use the Old view if you want to create them that way.

Here is some code to paste at the end of a URL in the new view to see that same issue in the Old View without having to fully switch back and forth.

I filed an issue in Jira Support regard this and they told me that is a fundamental change of code that they are doing, so their idea is to respect the hierarchy Epic->Story->SubTask and remove the option to have subtasks for the Epics.
