How to track the time of a Flagged issue?

Hello, I don't work with a Blocked or Impeded status.

In each of the cards that have a block, we use the Add Flag (and here we add the reason for the block) and Remove Flag (and here add the given solution).

Well, in this case, how can I do to track the total time that an issue has been in blocking?

Please, no shallow answers like "Get a plugin".

- I have no way to purchase plugins.
- JQL? It may be, but show me an example.

JQL will just pull all status that are flagged. Also, to pull for a flag issue from a certain time range. Haven't seen query to pull the calculated time.

Plugins like EazyBI will help.

Good luck on finding an out of the box solution without a plugin. A possible work around solution is to make a block status so you can use the time in status report.

Hi,

There are a couple of possible solutions with eazyBI to find for how long the issue was flagged.

The following custom measure in eazyBI calculates the time since the issue was the first time flagged as Impediment till the flag is removed:



CASE WHEN --for issues having Flagged changes
([Measures].[Transitions to],
[Transition Field].[Flagged])>1
THEN
(([Measures].[Transition to first timestamp],
[transition field].[Flagged],
[Flagged].[(none)]
)
-
([Measures].[Transition to first timestamp],
[transition field].[Flagged],
[Flagged].[Impediment]
))/3600/24
END

The limitation of this solution is that it works fine for cases when the issue has been flagged once.
