Hello, How can I send emails to multiple users when ticket is assigned to a serviceaccount?
For example: we have an Jira user account with the name IT Support when the ticket gets assigned to It Support all the users who work in this team should get notified. Is this possible in Jira? Request you to pls help. @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-
Thanks.

Hello @Mike I don't think this applies for my case as there is no workflow transition that happens for it to trigger the event.
Tickets gets created first and then some one from our team will assign them to these service accounts based on departments, there are different departments and one of them is IT so when my manager manually assigns them it should send emails to all the users based on the departments that they work for..
@Teza Ah - Understandable. Have you looked to utilize Automation based on a JQL filter trigger that would run periodically to find the issues? After it finds issues, have the component fire the event needed

Using https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211069/notification-assistant-for-jira-email?hosting=server&tab=overview you can configure a notification on field edit.
Thanks! is there a way to achieve this without using the third party apps?
