How to auto-update main-task, when Sub-tasks are getting Updated?

Sometimes it is very difficult for to go to each subtask to check the comments. I need to update the Subtask in such a way that main task will also be updated with some conditions or specific comments.

Hi @Panda, Subrat kumar , there are multiple possibilities to adjust parent tasks, it depends on your Jira configuration

If the sub-task is updated via any workflow transition, update operation can be done in postfunction.

If the sub-task is adjusted by native "Edit" action, listener/webhook must be used. Can you be more specific? Do you have any useful applications installed (like script runner)?
