Why is my Jira hanging when I update an issue?

Question

Jira keeps hanging every time I try to add a comment on an issue. This happens on Safari and Chrome, also have some issues with mac app.

I have no problem creating issues or moving around Jira, it is just whenever I click on the Comments field of an Issue Jira completely freezes

One reason could be that a user is not logged in, or the session may have ended.

Is anyone finding Confluence also freezes too? It's such a struggle working like this

I am still having an issue here. Have moved to a new MacBook Pro and the issue still exists. @Earl McCutcheon are you able to assist any further with this?
