I want to create a report on the progress of an issue with subtasks. See the progress bar on screen shot below.
How to do it ? Is there a field storing the progress in % of an issue treatment ? If yes, which one ?
Thanks.
Hello @MHB
Thank you for reaching out.
The section on the parent issue view that displays the percentage of the progress of the related sub-tasks at the issue view is not a field in Jira, but a feature of the New issue view.
That being said, you can not use it as a field in a report, however, the issue statistic gadget can provide you with the same view, where you can select one or multiple parents to display their related sub-tasks progress. These would be the steps:
parent = "task1"

Hello @Petter Gonçalves,
Thank you very much,
On the report, i want to display both issuekey parent and sub-task for every parent having a sub-task . To do that, what are the appropriate :
-jql : the jql parent = "task1" is only for one parent, how to have all the parents with their sub-tasks ?
- gadget : is there a gadget to display both issuekey in waterfall (example below) or another way ?
Unfortunately, Jira does not have an inbuilt report to return the exact statistic you want, however, there are some options you can use to achieve your need:
