Jira automation: cloning and subtask and changing type failed

Question

If anyone can help, i'm in a failing loop.

Here is the scenario.

I got story task

i got 2 types of subtasks:

- qualification

- bug

What I want to achieve is to create a bug ticket when my qualification reach a certain status (failed). the fields of the bug ticket (title/resume) would be the qualification's clone

The 2 subtasks have the same workflow

If i go throw the parent branch then field copied are the one from the story

If i go straight, then i suppose it tries to create a subtask(bug) from the parent subtask(qualification).

I also tried to clone and then to change type, not working much.

Hi, I tried that but then my clone ticket is the parent one.

Maybe try putting a Branch rule / related issues component prior to the Clone sub-task.
