How to make a filter for tickets that have gone through multiple status changes?

I want to create a Problem Filter.

This filter will be for tickets that have changed status more than seven times. It shouldn't be dependent upon what status they have been assigned to, but instead, the number of times the status has changed. 

 

Is there a way to write a JQL for a ticket that has changed status seven or more times?

You can try to use the following api :

Don't forget to use the changelog option. You will be able to have the history of the issue wich include status.
