What is the best way for us to charge the finnished tasks ???

We are just testin out Jira, and I have a question for my ( accountant - The person who will be charging for all the taks ) ..

How can we make a done task move automaticly to our accountant ? for her to be able to charge for the tasks?

Also, when an employ has finnished one task and put in his hours, can I some how change the hours number ( super vise what we are charging ?)

1. You could add a post-function to the "Close" transitions in your workflow to assign the issue to your accountant. Look for the "Update Issue Field" post-function. If you want to get fancy add a "Billed Y/N" custom field or post-billing status to the workflow so she can keep track of which she's processed. She just needs a filter like "issuetype=Task and assignee=currentUser() and resolution=Fixed and Billed=No" to track the pending tasks.

2. You may want to look at some of the time tracking plugins for JIRA rather than using the stock system if its part of your accounting system.
