Calculating future sprint estimates into a single total

How do I calculate the total number of story points in a backlog sprint to give on Total. e.g

 

given I viewing the backlog

when I look at a future sprint 

I am have the capability to add up all the estimated story points in that given sprint via JQL Query

And insert into a confluence page.

 

 

Does anyone know how to do this?

You can't sum story points using JQL, but there are few options for visualising this data.

See some examples on how to do this in Jira on this answer.

Alternatively you could look for a more powerful data visualisation tool in Confluence - such as Table Filter and Charts, which might be able to do this using their pivot table functionality and SUM functions.
