Attachments not appearing from external

We have an external company that creates a jira from their software Accelo into Jira and the Jira will create but any attachment will not be able to be viewed.

 

It says the reported does not have permission to create attachments in the project, The following attachments found in the email have been discarded

This would most likely be a permission issue

You need two things

1. Administration> System > Attachments (under Advanced): Set Allow Attachments to ON
2. Give that user (preferably via Role or Group) in the permission scheme of that project the create attachment permission.
