JIRA Hipchat notifications, message format?

Question

When editing the post-function for a JIRA transition that notifies hipchat,

The default (blank) field gives a message with content eg:
HC-123: A test issue Status A→Transition→Status B by Joe Smith. Current assignee is John Citizen.

I can see there are buttons to help write the replacement items:
$issue, $issueKey, $issueSummary, $issueType, $assignee, $user

How can the message sent to hipchat be customised further?

eg: what other fields are available? what's the current syntax used in case of blank?

I wasted quite a bit of time trying to guess formatting.

Thanks for the link to the code, it shows that no other keywords exists that can be invoked and that the message is also HTML escaped so no formatting is possible. Not even things like bold or italic.

Overall, not impressed. The fancy new plugin is even worse as you cannot add a JQL filter to prevent sensitive issues from being rendered. Also no message customization possible in the new plugin.

How do we add fields like "Resolution" and other fields including the Transition information.
