We are trying to use Xray test management JIRA plugin for testing. Can we use Xray to execute UFT automation tests.

Hi Shyam,
Currently, Xray does not have any specific integration with HP UFT.
However, we do have many integration possibilities. Please give a look at http://confluence.xpand-addons.com/display/XRAY/Integrating+with+testing+frameworks.
If you're able to make HP UFT output some compatible report (e.g. JUnit XML) then we are able to process it and give visibility of your UFT scripts.

As Xray does not have any specific integration with UFT so you cannt trigger test from Xray but you can upload the results into Xray by using REST APIs see below link:
