During Bulk import,finding issue while mapping "Sprint Version"

Question

May i know ...why the system says it supports only "Alpha Numeric combination"..

Can u customize this feature...Since in our organization..we have this "Alpha numeric combination"..to all sprints we define...

We find very difficult process to tag to a sprint..under issue and filter option--Extracting sprint id...then again going to edit issues..then with the sprint id in order to tag(Huge Process)..

Can i get any optimized solution to this problem??

It can be process breach...but this is the situation we face...no other go in this case..

Can you please any alternatives...so that my question can be addressed...(Only Alpha numeric combination)

When you are importing and bulk editing issues you cannot use the sprint name you have to use the sprint id which is a number.

This is inconvenient because finding the sprint id is not obvious.
