Specific User Cannot Paste Images Into Comment

Question

For a given ticket, one User can use CTRL+V to paste an image into a comment for an existing ticket, but another User cannot.

I have them setup the same, or so I thought, but I must be missing something.

Is there a permission/setting I am missing somewhere?

The bug is still on "Gathering impact" status since there are only 7 affected users in 2 years.

This item is from almost 2 years ago. Do you know if it will ever be fixed or is it only based on how many teams it affects?

Searching here I found that this issue is related to a bug where copy/past shortcut doesn’t work on Edge and IE.

* copy/paste shortcuts not working anymore for file attachments in comment fields with Internet Explorer and Edge
