How can I suppress email notifications at user level?

I have users of my jira instance that do not wish to receive email notifications.  How can I disable as an Admin at the user level?

Hello,

Welcome to the community.

You need to look at the notification scheme and delete this user. He won't receive any notification.

But if he works on multiple projects with different notification scheme, you will need to look at all those scheme...

He can also go to his settings and manage his email notification preference
