Query of subtask parent fields in swimlane filter

I have subtasks on my kanban board. I am currently grouping these issues into swimlanes based on labels in the sub-tasks. But all the subtasks for a parent have the same label, and the parent has that label as well. This duplication of effort is problematic. It would be much better if I could just filter on the label in the parent task. Can this be done? I can't find a way to do it in JQL, and both Scriptrunner and JQL Extensions seem to fall short as well.

I dont know of a specific way to do this, if you are not wanting to show a specific issue type, you can filter that out. Not sure if thats what you were looking for.
