Some, not all, AOD users are logged out every few hours

We recently migrated from stand-alone JIRA/Conf/fecru to AOD. Since migrating we have a problem where some users are logged out many times per day. Other users, like myself, stay logged in indeffinitly.

Unfortunatly I hear more complaining than details. One user claims that everytime their Mac sleeps they have to re-authenticate. Another user said that they get a message "You have been logged out because you have not used JIRA for approximately 5 hours" in the middle of an active session.

Has anyone seen similar issues?

Also, if you login to your OnDemand instance in multiple browsers and/or multiple devices, logging out from one browser/device will log you out of all of them.

It was also suggested that crossing a proxy and/or cache might contribute.
