Can permissions be configured so that only certain groups are allowed to create specific issue types

Question

I would like to disable the ability for all users to create "test" or "sub test executions" issues. Is there a way to set a permission that only allows a specific group to create "test" issues?

I see that issue creation can be disabled for groups; however, I would like to allow users to continue creating all non-testing related issue types, such as "stories."

Hi @Nicole Oldow ,

if the workflows aren't shared, this should be doable by adding a corresponding validator to your workflows used for 'Test' or 'Sub test execution' issues. If they're currently shared, splitting them might be your only option without having to use an additional app.
