I'm creating a confluence page and I cannot figure out how to indent paragraphs or sentences.

The indent and outdent feature are present within Confluence Cloud. We can use it by pressing the TAB key or SHIT+TAB keys.
To Indent, we use the TAB key on the keyboard. Here is what it looks like:
To Outdent, we use the SHIFT+TAB key combination on the keyboard:
Also, we have this feature request that reinstated indent and outdent action in Confluence Cloud:
