Google Update - How will the switch to apps that use secure OAuth access affect using Jira?

Starting February 15, 2021, G Suite accounts will only allow access to apps using OAuth. Password-based access will no longer be supported.

are there any steps we need to take? there are several connections between Jira and Gmail for example
