Is it possible to change the color of the different spaces' icons? At the moment, they are all navy blue, and it would be nicer to be able to color code different spaces.

You can change the color scheme of space from Space Admin/Space Tool >> Color Scheme under Look And Feel >> Select Custom Color Scheme >> Edit. Try to experiment around the color scheme to see which one suit your taste.
