I would like to get the jira cards as static images instead of cards to be printed for offline work.If the cards are printed as images it could be used to reference in visio.

By default theres no good option for this.
You can use some plugins:
Agile Cards
Only used to print the issuesas agile cards.
Xporter
It has many utilities to printing issues in many ways
On the board if you have ellipses in the top RH corner there is a Print cards option. Is that what you are using and it is not meeting your needs?
