I cannot edit sprint name & description on Backlog screen.
It only shows the error popup says "There was a problem. please try again"

Do you have the "Manage Sprints" permission for all the projects used in that board? This is a project-level permission, for more information see https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/managing-project-permissions-776636362.html
