Toggle "Create Issues in Epics" to Off

Hi,

We have a client that has validators on the creation of Stories.

This confuses users when they want to create stories within Epics by clicking on the "Create Issue in Epic" button as it will not create it, and also doesn't give a valid reason why.

It basically adds it to the list of stories with a yellow triangle that states there's no connection.

You have to refresh the page to see that story is not in the epic anymore (well it never was)

Is there a way toggle this option off? Can it be set per project?
Are there future plans to give the full create screen option here?

Hi Juan - Sounds like a bug, but just to check - what does the Validator message say in the workflow? And just to verify that the message does not get displayed when creating through the Epic.

I would go ahead and get a support ticket created with Atlassian for it.

There is no error message set up in the workflow

Is there a way to toggle the create issues from in an epic's view screen off?

No, I am not aware of any ability to toggle that off. You could probably get Atlassian to create a feature request for that in the future though.
