How to know equivalent Jira Server version from Cloud version ?

Question

How to know equivalent JIRA Server version from Cloud version...As current JIRA Cloud version is v1000.747.0, but JIRA Server versions are like v7.2.x or latest v7.3.x. So, is there any Atlassian link or page, where we can see equivalent JIRA server version from Cloud version ?

Nic Brough -Adaptavist- · Answer

No.  There is no exact direct mapping between them, as the the products have diverged in some key areas of their code.

However, Cloud is always the latest version, so unless you're working with a backup of Cloud from the past, the answer is "use the very latest stable release of JIRA Server"
