Incorrect Issue status in Release section

Hi Team,

I have few completed issues tagged to a Release as indicated in the below attached screen shot.

The problem is even though the Issues tagged to those Release are completed "Done" , i was prompted as Incomplete Issues. Attached another screen shot for your reference.

 

Can someone please help us on this. Thank you.

The problem here is that the "resolution" field is not set.  The workflow status may be "Done", but the resolution has not been set when moving to Done.  The Resolution is what Jira uses to consider things complete, the workflow status is separate.

The resolution is the "reason" an issue is considered done, e.g. "Fixed", "Not Required", "Duplicate".  You can either set the resolution automatically (via workflow post-function), or present a screen to the user to allow them to select a resolution from a drop down.  There should be a built-in "Resolve Issue" screen for this.

Note that the values available for Resolution are configured globally on your Jira instance, they are not project specific.
