Time estimates of all sub tasks under a task does not show in that task

I am new to Jira and am trying to create tasks for my team as part of project execution. 

I have created a task and few sub tasks for that task in my project. My problem is that the time estimate for the sub tasks does not total to show next to the task. 

I did some research on google and it says to check "Include Sub Folders" , but I do not see any such option to check in my Jira. So, I am unable to show the sum of the time required for all sub tasks in the Task. Am I missing something here? Please help!

If you are using the "new issue view", this is a known bug:
