how to change / rename my sitename instance ?

Question

For example domain to access the cloud JIRA is:   abc.atlassian.com

how do i change 'abc'  to  'xyz'

Actually, you can do this now.  If you raise a support request with Atlassian support, they will change your url.

But they will not do it a lot (My memory is saying max once a year).  So be very sure of your XYZ before raising the request!

@Michael Lam , like Avinash said, you can';t currently Change the URL but it is coming! Take a look at this Atlassian Doc for more information:

it looks like you only option until they get this done is to create a new site and then migrate.

Hi @Michael Lam ,

Currently you cannot change the url in cloud instances and there are couple open requests with Atlassian for same.
