Attach image from already uploaded images

Is it possible to use an image for a task that is already uploaded for a different task? I want to avoid uploading same image multiple times for different tasks. Currently, I only see the recent uploads in the view below. Is it possible to browse through all the uploaded images?

Not in the new editor. Also, even if you could, it would attach a seperate copy of the image to the page so you would still end up with multiple copies.
