Setting up UAT Bug option in Jira

We currently have an issue type for our IT bugs found during sprints, but how can I set up an option for bugs found during User Acceptance Tests(ie. UAT bugs?) This would be valuable to have as an option when creating bug tickets. Thank you!

Hey @Lauren Morgan

There's a few ways you can define different types of bugs.

You can make a new bug issue type and name it UAT Bugs or something like that
You can make components that identify the bug type. For example (IT Bugs, UAT Bug, etc)
You can make a custom field called "Bug Type" and list the options on the create screen
You can add labels to the issue that achieve the same functionality as components but its easier to make a mistake with labels since its a free type text field.
