Hide comment field on transition screen Jira cloud

Hi 

I know this as been discussed and solutions have been provided however, I still don't get it to work... I want to hide the comment field on my transition screens in jira cloud workflows

I have tried adding a message field with code but it doesn't work for me. I use Jira cloud. 

this is my code I have saved as default value of a message field. 

<p>&lt;p&gt;&lt;style&gt;.field-group.aui-field-wikiedit.comment-input</p>
{display: none!important;}
<p>&lt;/style&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</p>

 

Anyone have any ideas how I can get it to work?

You cannot use injected code on Cloud, so I'm afraid all the stuff you've found about doing it that way is not of any use to you.

The only way to remove the comment box from a transition screen is to remove the user's permission to comment.

You can do that with either the project permissions, or by adding workflow properties to each status in a workflow.
