Contact Card Expands on Hover = ANNOYING

Question

In the last month, there was an update that now includes a contact card flyout on hover in the task details. My mouse passes over it all day long and the dumb thing persists.

It should be a tap to view thing, not a hover. It's super-frustrating because it always covers over fields that I'm trying to see/edit and the only way to get it to disappear is to resize the window or refresh the view. Super annoying.

I have this problem, too, and as OP says it is SUPER annoying.

Here's how it happens:

1) Re-assign a task in the backlog view by moving your house down to that field

2) Pass over the reporter to the assignee field (reporter card will show)

3) Re-assign and hit enter

4) Reporter card persists (and will even appear in the upper-left, if you're lucky on refresh)

It's always awesome when it appears randomly way over in another part of the screen too, like this screenshot:
