E-mail options since Basic Auth is being retired?

With Microsoft turning turning off Basic Authentication in Exchange Online for EWS, Exchange ActiveSync (EAS), POP, IMAP in October of 2020, what will the E-mail account options be besides IMAP and POP for e-mail requests?
