Want to make a Locked field "Non-Mandatory"

Hi,

I am prompted to enter a data into the field Teams. However, I am unable to find a place to define the value for Teams on my JIRA instance.

I am unable to proceed to perform any action. Please help.

I am the Admin of JIRA. Implementing JIRA in our company first time though.

I could see that the field is not set as Mandatory. Additionally, the field is a Locked Field. I could not make any configurations.

It sounds like the field is set to required in the field configuration scheme but not on the create screen. You need to contact your JIRA admin
