Recurring checklists?

What's the best set of tools to create recurring checklists? I have a project that has issues which repeat weekly. I would like to use Checklist Pro since I already have that app installed.

Each weekday has it's own checklist. Monday's have a checklist, Tuesday's, etc.

I'm thinking the best way to do this is just setup a YAML on separate issues and figure out how to memorize that issue and repeat it weekly.

I tried Googling this but the first several posts I found were several years old.

We don't in Jira. We've just been handling it in Google Calendars outside of Jira.

I want to bring our process into Jira so we're essentially starting from scratch.

So, the first problem to solve is creating recurring Jira issues. You can do it manually (using "clone" functionality), but it can be automated too. There are a few plugins available for Jira Cloud that can help:
- Recurring Tasks (paid)
- The Scheduler (paid)
- Automation for Jira (paid and free)
Once the recurring issues are set up, you need to update them (their definition/template) with the desired value for the "Checklist Text" or "Checklist Content YAML" custom fields. It will add an appropriate checklist to all newly created issues.
