Watcher issue

kA

Hi friends,

i have more than ten child page under one parent page. Then i restrict the view permission of the parent, now the permission was inherited by chile pages too. But if i added some user in watcher list of the parent page, it could not be inherited in child pages. So i could not receive the mail, if there is any modification occurs in child pages. How can i achieve that one.

Thanks in advance,

Karthik A.

Hi Karthik,
Confluence does not provide this functionality out of the box. A feature request for this functionality has been raised in the past, which can be found here. In case you were using the self hosted version of Confluence, the Enterprise Notifications from Adaptavist could provide you with an alternative.
