How can I add a file path link to my task?

I can work out how to add an url but is there an easy way to add a network file path?

Hello Gemma,

To add both a URL or a network file to your tasks the structure used should be the same:

1 - Using the new issue view (Markdown notation):

[link title](www.linkpath.com)

2 - Using the Old issue view (Wiki Markup Notation):

[link title|http://example.com]

For other formatting options in the old view, check Wiki Markup notation.
