Atlassian Cloud Integration with Visual Studio

Greetings

Just wanted to check with the community whether it is possible to integrate JIRA/Bitbucket Cloud with MicroSoft Visual Studio using any of the add-ons providing an integrated development environment to users.

The following are the requirements which we are looking at.

1. Creating a JIRA cloud issue from Visual Studio

2. All GIT operations connecting to Bitbucket cloud from Visual Studio.

We are using Visual Studio version of 2017. Let me know, if you need additional details.

It does sound like it covers the OP's needs. That is it does when it works and if you don't mind being completely left in the dark and completely on your own when it doesn't work.

I thought this extension was brilliant and used it for several months. Then it just stopped working about a month ago. I have contacted Atlassian ("It's not an officially supported product."), tried raising an issue (no response) and tried sending feedback (again no response.)

Even though the developer works for Atlassian it appears he is completely free to do whatever he wants, set his own support environment and set his own support rules and priorities.

Can I get a job like this?

That plugin is for VS Code, not VS? It doesn't really address the requirements listed by the OP?

Are there any official extensions for VS 2019? Personally, I'd find it pretty beneficial.
