Remaining Time entire project or by Epics

Hi there,

All the stories in the Backlog are estimated and linked to different Epics. Now I need to find out how much time we need to complete everything or by selected Epics.

So, I have two questions which are related to find out Time remaining in a project:

• How can I see at once all the remaining Time for the stories in Backlog?
• or How can I see at once all the remaining Time for all the Epics?
• As the stories are already assigned, how can I find out which user has how many of hours work left?
• I've installed Portfolio, would this help to tackle some points? How do I need to set it up?

unfortunately I have not the solution for your requirements. But anyhow "Remaining Time" and  "Epic/Story" doesn't really fit. They should be ideally relatively estimated. With the team velocity known and portfolio you can make that what you want visible: On the overview of portfolio you will see then the calculated end date when the whole backlog will be implemented (over multiple teams)

Of cause this will be getting more uncertain the huger the total backlog is. But, when done with experienced teams and constant conditions (same team, no fluctuation, same length of sprints) the accuracy should be good enough for a forecast for 2-3 sprints (I assume that one sprint is 2 weeks long).
