Epics are NOT shown in my Backlog

Question

Our company just created a new JIRA cloud , and we migrated most of the issues, however I can see that the Epics are not shown in our backlog, usually they are on the left side of the board.

Please find attached the image.

How can we make it so they are shown?

In one project, I have that option, in another I don't.  Any idea why?

Click on option  Show epics panel from the right side menu when you are on the board
