How do I add a comment to an issue on JIRA Cloud?

Hi, I get email notifications for comments regarding issues I'm watching or am tagged on, and I'd like to be able to

1. Reply to comments via email (e.g. not have to load the issue and comment there)
2. Add comments via email (without replying, e.g. to an issue-specific email address)

Use-case (1) is more important than (2) but this feels like incredibly basic functionality so would love both. I'm on JIRA Cloud.
