Add a predefined text in the body while creating a new ticket

Hi,

I am trying to implement some new processes in our Jira Support board and will need to add a predefined text in the form of steps to follow for our Support team, each time they are adding the description of an issue in the body of a ticket.

The only way I know to do this is using Adaptavist Scriptrunner

Hi @Riadh ,

You can use text custom field and configure the steps as the field's default value. In this case, user will be able to modify/change the steps unintentionally.

You can use a label custom field to document your steps in the field description and use that on the create/edit issue screen as needed (This is a hack. Users may/may not label the ticket but the label description will contain the Steps which no one can edit/change).
